Flight Lieutenant Frank White served in the R.A.F in the Middle East between 1941 and 1944 After returning to London he served in France between 1945 and 1946
After leaving the R.A.F in 1946 Frank returned to running his business Gander and White Shipping Ltd. He remained a member of the R.A.F reserves and served on the management committee of the R.A.F reserves club in London during which time he raised money for the R.A.F Benevolent fund.
The R.A.F Benevolent fund was formed in 1919 and will be celebrating its centenary in 2019 Francelle was very proud to be invited to speak to at t he R.A.F club in London in 2016 and donated all the all the profit from book sales that day to the R.A.F Benevolent fund
